Small businesses rarely have technology problems that fit neatly into one category. A slow application may really be a network problem. A website project may expose an outdated business process. A camera installation may uncover poor Wi-Fi coverage. A spreadsheet may have quietly become a mission-critical system.
COD works across those boundaries. We design and manage websites, support day-to-day IT, build and maintain UniFi networks, and create focused software when an off-the-shelf product is the wrong fit.
The goal is not to sell the largest possible technology stack. It is to understand what is getting in the way and build the right-sized solution around the business.
Right-sized is a feature.
COD is intentionally built around small businesses and owner-operated environments. Those organizations need reliable technology every bit as much as larger companies do, but they usually do not need layers of account teams, oversized projects or technology selected to satisfy an enterprise sales quota.
Sometimes the right answer is a complete managed-services relationship. Sometimes it is a UniFi deployment, a better website or a purpose-built application. And sometimes the best advice is simply not to replace something that already works.

Computing on Demand became a technology news and review site. CODWebHosting originally grew beside it to handle web hosting and web services. Over the years, COD’s service work expanded while the original name remained familiar.
Today, CODWebHosting is the small-business technology services company: web and brand, managed IT, UniFi networks and software. The name reflects where we started; the work reflects where our customers took us.
