Our Work

Real problems. Practical fixes.

We do websites, networks, computers, servers, storage and software — but the technology is not really the point. The point is what finally started working the way it should. The things that used to slow you down, interrupt your day, or make you say “why is this still happening?” — those are the problems we solve.

▣
Business PCs & Hardware

Stop buying a giant desktop for a browser and email.

A local retailer had historically bought full-size desktop PCs for routine business work. We looked at what the users actually needed and moved appropriate roles to compact PCs that delivered the required performance with less desk space and lower hardware cost.

The COD part: We did not start with “what computer can we sell?” We started with “what does this person actually need to do?”

Virtualization & Storage

Get important services off somebody’s workstation.

For a small retail environment, we centralized useful always-on services on dedicated virtual infrastructure and paired it with dedicated network storage. The business no longer had to treat one back-office PC like a tiny accidental server room.

The COD part: Build just enough infrastructure to make the business more reliable and accessible — not an enterprise data center for the sake of having one.

Networking

Wi-Fi, switching and cameras that behave like one system.

Small-business networking projects often start with one complaint — weak coverage, unreliable devices, poor camera placement or a growing pile of consumer gear. We design the environment as a whole so the pieces work together and can be managed after installation.

The COD part: UniFi is a tool we like. The service is figuring out what the space and business actually need.

Software & Workflow

When the right tool does not exist, build it.

COD develops focused applications and dashboards around real workflows — quoting, inventory, sales operations, reporting and other processes that otherwise end up living in spreadsheets, email and somebody’s memory.

The COD part: Sometimes the fix is configuration. Sometimes automation. Sometimes we build the thing because nothing off the shelf fits.
What these have in common

We are problem solvers first.

These projects do not fit neatly into one traditional IT-services box, and that is exactly the point. Small businesses often have problems that cross the website, network, hardware, storage and software at the same time.

We got you. Show us what is getting in the way and we will figure out the cleanest way to make the technology work for the business instead of the other way around.

Got one that does not fit a category?

Perfect. Tell us what is happening. We will start there.
